Located on the corner of 37th Street and Park Avenue, The Union League Club is home to a distinguished art collection, a library, sports and fitness facilities, fine dining and catering, conference rooms and a gallery of art. It remains “a simple organization of a social nature”, cherished by members and guests seeking a place of refuge in New York.


  • Bates Room
    • Named after members of Abraham Lincoln’s cabinet, the Bates Room provides a private setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner meetings, as well as small get togethers.

  • Blair Room
    • Named after members of Abraham Lincoln’s cabinet, the Blair Room provides a private setting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner meetings at a round mahogany inlaid pedestal table.

  • Chase Room
    • Named after members of Abraham Lincoln’s cabinet, the Chase Room provides a private setting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner meetings at a round mahogany inlaid pedestal table.

  • Grant Room
    • The Grant Room is home to portraits of Lincoln’s great Generals and the Secretary of war, Edward McMasters Stanton. Dark oakpaneling makes this state room a great fit for conferences, meetings and private dinners. In addition, the adjacent Cabinet Room provides a convenient space suitable for registration, a breakout room or small reception.

  • Grill Room
    • English oak paneling and gilt ceilings give this small dining room a classic elegance, perfect for a reception or small dinner party.

  • Library
    • A favorite spot of our members and a perfect setting for meetings, book signings, receptions & dinners, the library is the focal point for the Club’s literary and cultural activity.

  • Main Dining Room
    • English oak paneling and gilt ceilings give the Main Dining Room and its adjacent foyer an atmosphere of classic and timeless formality.

  • Main Lounge
    • The Main Lounge is the site of the Union League Club’s collection of U.S. Presidential Portraits and is the perfect space for a cocktail reception.

  • Mary Murray Room
    • This elegant room provides a classic simplicity with an adjacent pine lounge. In addition guests can admire some of the Club’s most valuable works of art dating back to the 1800’s.

  • Penthouse on Park
    • We are pleased to announce the Penthouse on Park & Roof Top Terrace is now open for host your special event.

      Special Event space use (typically for 10-65 guests) will require catering and additional services and charges.
